A woman going through security at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport was delayed for some time on Saturday, when agents found high heels in her carry-on that looked like they had guns for heels and bullets adorning the platforms, TSA spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein Tweeted.
She also had two bracelets lined with what look like bullets in her bag, tripping TSA’s security systems.
Even if they aren’t real weapons or ammunition, the TSA won’t allow realistic replica firearms and ammunition past security checkpoints.
Those shoes are now headed to that TSA closet in the sky*, after she opted to surrender them and her bracelets instead of transferring them to her checked luggage, in the interest of time.
*As far as I know, there is no actual TSA closet in the sky.
